Hyderabad

Technorati Tags:

Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh was founded in the late 16th century by the Qutab Shahi Dynasty. Hyderabad is a city of oriental glory, reminiscent of the great days of the Indo-Muslim culture. It was till recently the seat of the fabled Nizams. Today, together with adjoining Secunderabad, it is one of India's largest cities. Medieval Indian, Saracenic, Mughual and Colonial architecture create an exuberance and richness here, rarely found in other parts of the country.
